If you ever read Hamlet's Mill, that is a slog. It's like digging through a sewer looking for diamonds. There's diamonds there, but man... the dude wrote it like Da Vinci. He wrote it deliberately hard to read, but Hamlet's Mill goes through the case basically of them recording procession of the equinoxes and mythology and stuff.
